Preetysha "The International Singing Star" is  band leader and the lead vocalist  of her Orchestra. She has performed with great acclaim in more than 30 states in the United States.  She rose quickly in the music world and blazed a trail in Los Angeles.  Preetysha sings with incredible ease songs of~the living legend Lata Mangeshkar, versatile Asha Bhosle, melodious Geeta Dutt, melody~queen Noorjehan, as well as the current leading Bollywood playback singers, such as Alka Yagnik, Shreya Ghosal and Sunidhi Chauhan. Preetysha is affectionately called “India's Nightingale of California, USA” by many people.
 
As a child, since the age of seven, pretty Preetysha would sing the songs of the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar with the radio. The talent in her genes was inherited from, and supported by, her beloved Mother Anjanben Shah. She studied in North Indian Classical Music from Ustad Shankar in the Bhatkhande style for four years and won the first prize in classical singing contest at age of 12. But she truly~considers her real guru to be the legendary Lata Mangeshkar, who she believes is an incarnation of Maa Saraswati. Just by listening~to Lataji’s songs from childhood she learned a lot. Preetysha worships Lataji from her heart.~Preeysha possesses the ability to sing melodiously in the high octave range, and the tonal quality of her vocal chords is similar to the living legend Lataji. Preetysha’s talent is an anmol gift from God and is~most appreciated~by her wide audience. This versatile singer sings~in many languages, including Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Marathi, Bengali, English, Sanskrit, Telugu and Sinhala (Sri Lankan).

Preetysha enthralls the audience by providing music from latest Bollywood hits to yesterday's classic favorites, from Garba and Dandiya Raas (Folk Music) to  Taditional Gujarati Wedding songs, From   Bhajans to Ghazals and from Mehndi songs  to non-stop Live Dance music remixes of Old and new songs of Hindi Films.  She has a gift for captivating audiences of all ages and language groups. Her modesty and sensibility in perceiving the mood~of her audience makes every one of her events a roaring~success.

She is the first Indian female singer to have performed with full orchestra at MGM Casino and Hotel, the Venetian Casino and Hotel and Caesar's Palace Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas. In the Los Angeles area, she has performed at the Universal Amphitheater in Hollywood,~at the Cerritos Performing arts Center with well-known singer Kumar Sanu, and at the Disneyland Hotel in California USA. In its long history, the band has performed for AAPI's national convention, AIF Gala event, Chinmaya Mission fundraising event, Sunnyvale Hindu Temple fundraising event, Hope Medical Univercity convention, KSMD medical convention, BMCCA convention,  and~fund raising concerts, Beauty Pagents, Eid Celebrations as well as for most of the local associations in California, Nevada, Colorado and Arizona states in USA.

For over  fifteen  years  now, Preetysha has provided countless people joy through her music in Southern California, the Bay Area, as well as many cities throughout the United States. She has become a musical icon in the South Asian community in California, and remains a respected and beloved member of the community.
